AgroSense LoRaWAN® Carbon Dioxide (CO2) Sensor uses the SGP30 sensor, can remotely measures carbon dioxide levels in the atmosphere at the range of 400-60000ppm with accuracy ±20% respectively and resolution 1ppm, also with highly waterproof performance tested to IP68 , making it widely applicable in agricultural environmental sensing scenarios to support Field Cultivation,   greenhouse planting, Warehouse, etc...

The sensor benefits from LoRaWAN , which ensures stability and reliability. It is capable of covering a long transmission range while maintaining low power consumption. Unlike wireline devices, it is 18650 3.7V Li-ion cell battery-powered, reducing the workload and complexity of deployment, design and development for end-users that can work via powering it , and setting the configuration in the cloud server, for LoRaWAN® remote monitoring.   It monitors the Carbon Dioxide and report them every 1 hour, duration of work 9 months.

The product requires a 20-second warm-up period to collect data, which results in higher battery consumption than other Agrosense products. So we have chosen lithium batteries as the power supply. Our lithium batteries support cyclic charging and multiple use, allowing users to remove the battery when it is low on power and recharge it.

This product mainly features:

  • - Compatible with Worldwide LoRaWAN®1.0.3 Networks, Support the universal frequency bands EU868/ US915;

  • - Long Range: At least 2km in urban scenes and 5 km in line of sight scenes.

  • - Designed to Use in Harsh Environments: -40℃ ~ 85℃ operating temperature and IP68-rated enclosure, suitable for outdoor use, high UV exposure, heavy rain, dusty conditions, etc.

  • - Simple to Use: Provides LoRaWAN® DEV EUI/ APP EUI/ APP Key, enable user to finish configuration in few steps.

  • - Support LoRaWAN Downlink, to set Transmit Interval Time (60 minutes by default, Minimum 5 Minutes , 24 hours Max)

  • - Cost-effective: With Makerfabs’ strong ability on production, we make this product cost-effective to users, the cost of our product is approximately half that of similar products currently available on the market, suitable for mass implement in field applications such as farm/greenhouse, etc.

Description
AgroSense is a series of Makerfabs wireless LoRaWAN® sensors.

It can cover a transmission range of 2km in urban scenes and 5km in line-of-sight scenes while keeping lower power consumption during the transmission process. Together with a replaceable 18650 3.7V Li-ion cell battery-powered and an industrial IP68 enclosure. It supports -40 ~ 85℃ operating temperature and can be deployed in harsh environments. AgroSense is compatible with LoRaWAN® V1.0.3 protocol and can work with LoRaWAN® gateway.


With LoRaWAN® gateway, LoRaWAN® sensor report the result to LoRaWAN® networks, such as The Things Network, with simply inputting DEV EUI/ APP EUI/ APP Key:

  • - DEV EUI: Unique identification of device,authorized by IEEE;

  • - APP EUI: Unique identification of application;

  • - APP Key: One of the join network parameters on OTAA mode, calculated by DEVEUI;
